Anna Parlin

MD, MPH

 Anna W Parlin, MD, MPH, is a board-certified surgical retinal specialist. A graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Medicine at Chapel Hill, she completed both medical and public health degrees. She then completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where she served as chief resident. After residency she completed a vitreoretinal surgical fellowship at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. After fellowship she joined her husband in Honolulu and joined Retina Associates of Hawaii, Inc as an associate.

 She is currently the president of Retina Associates of Hawaii, Inc where her clinical and research interests include diabetic retinopathy and age related macular degeneration. Dr Parlin is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Retina Specialists, Women in Ophthalmology, Women in Retina, and the Hawaii Ophthalmology Society. In her free time she enjoys exploring the islands with her family.
